This class is for all who are curious about the Usui Reiki system of natural healing and wish to work on themselves or others. No prior experience is necessary.

  • learn the basics of how the human energy system works
  • become familiar with the unique ways that you perceive energy
  • learn chakra balancing, grounding and containment skills
  • practice “bio-sen” hand scanning to sense energy flow and blockages
  • hands-on practice of basic hand positions for self treatment and for working with others
  • receive the attunements which shift your energy system and prepare you to work with increasing ease and power

You can give Reiki to humans, animals, gardens, mountains, plants, waters…all of nature.

Reiki is life force energy which promotes the body’s own natural healing response. The benefits of Reiki are many, and include:

Mary Michaud, RN, MSN, FNP, Herbalist is a Reiki Master with 23 years of Reiki experience, and over 30 years as an advanced practice clinician. Her energy work integrates formal Reiki methods, Ayurvedic theory of the energetic body, modern biomedicine, and traditional herbal energetic philosophies.

Hélène V. Ramos, MA, Dipl PW, CMS-CHt, RMT is a practitioner of Processwork, Dream Analysis, Hypnotherapy, Past-Life + Life Between Lives Regression, Reiki, intuitive energy work, and quantum field journeys. She works in Charlottesville, Virginia, and on the world wide web.
